I get to go back. I found a (full-time) job, my boss likes conventions, and gave me the weekend of the 23rd off as my weekend of the month off! I've made two dresses for the event. I still don't know what I want to wear for Sunday, but I'm considering a kigurumi or one of my purchased dresses. I'll be modeling once more for dolldelight at the formal dinner at Mechacon. ...And freshly graduated. At present, I'm trying to find a paying job. I'm stuck living with my parents until I can save enough to get away from here and my father breathing down my neck like I'm fifteen again. I'm looking at Japan and teaching English, but it means I'd have to leave behind my sewing machine and serger. :/ Which would be a major blow to my ambitions to design and make clothes. Same goes for maybe going to Korea. No one will hire me. I'm overqualified now for the work I used to do, and everywhere else wants me to have experience in the field. It's kind of crappy. So we've been given another assignment in that class with the professor I griped about previously. Speaking of, he's in a better mood, probably because his show is no longer stressing him out. Maybe eventually he'll learn not to take it out on his students. Anyway, this new project is interesting and complex, and he seems to be enjoying it immensely even though we've barely started.
